Sep 2017 »Employability Boot Camp 2018 - Courses in Sydney, open to everyone. The Employability Boot Camp is an enhancement program initiated by the University of Newcastle Sydney together with employers. The program will equip you with business relevant skills that will prepare you for employment once you have completed your program. The Employability Boot Camp is also relevant for Postgraduate students and Ph.D. candidates, recently completed students and members of the public who are seeking career development. The twenty (20) graduates who participate in the boot camp will undergo eight (8) half-day modules, conducted on Saturday mornings by the Dean’s team together with alumni and industry practitioners. Participants who complete the employability boot camp, will be granted access to one or more of the following: a mentoring program with UON alumni and business practitioners. iLEAD Plus Program, corporate walk tours, Work Integrated Learning (WIL) and internship opportunities. scholarships. business team competitions eg. Enactus. interviewing skills delivered by hiring employers with the aim of securing work experience and potential employment if available. mentoring.
